Jobsite of the Week! No Turning Back

17 July, 2019

You get this gig and there’s no heading off for a mid-day coffee break, says Carl Postupak, owner of Postupak Painting Company in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. The Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse is a National Historic Landmark — one of only ten lighthouses in the country to be bestowed this highest honor. “Once the Coast Guard drops you off, you’re there for the duration, provided a storm doesn’t pop up. The crew had to bring an extra meal and sleeping bag in the event they couldn't be picked up.”
